This 5 Days Murchison Falls & Big Five Safari takes you to Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area, Murchison Falls National Park. The safari combines rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, thrilling game drives, a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, and a visit to the top of the world's most powerful waterfall. Expect incredible wildlife encounters including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, and numerous bird species.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will meet your professional safari guide for a briefing.
Begin your journey northwards to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience. This is the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and proceed to the top of the falls where you will witness the Nile River force itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging dramatically below.
