After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from Entebbe or Kampala and transfer you to Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda's most important birding sites. Accompanied by a local guide, enjoy a canoe excursion through the papyrus channels in search of the legendary Shoebill Stork. Other species commonly spotted include African Jacanas, Malachite Kingfishers, Papyrus Gonoleks, and herons. After lunch, begin your journey northwards to Murchison Falls National Park where you will arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Return to the lodge for lunch before visiting the Top of Murchison Falls where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge.
